Description

Royal "error mug". Rare, historical "gaff" souvenir mug made by the Chinese company Guandong Enterprises Ltd. Billed as a "limited edition heirloom", the bone china mug was supposed to commemorate the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton in 2011 but instead William's face was accidentally replaced with that of his brother, Harry. Production of the mugs was quickly cut short after the error was caught and revealed by the world's media, making this a coveted piece of Royal memorabilia. This is the authentic "gaff" mug purchased directly from the company by our consignor 3.5H x 4W x 3D in. Really cool piece! Congratulations to the winning bidder!
