Description
A color print of an original watercolor painting by Susan Southby from the edition titled Costumes of the Holy Land and published in Beirut, Lebanon in 1957. The print represents the traditional costume of an Arab woman from Ta Amreh. Signed lower right with the additional information mounted on the verso. Framed. Susan Southby is know for her postcards in 1948 to collect funds for the Palestinian Refugee Relief Fund by the United Nations (UNRWA).
Dimensions: Framed 25" x 18 3/4" in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Yellowing, scuffs, damage at edges and corners. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
