Description
19th c. confit pot made in Martes, Toulouse. A glaze made by "terre de fer" (clay with iron). It gives the illusion of a finer pottery glaze such as faience. Dimensions: H 7.5" x Dia. 8" Condition: Crazing and hairlines. Old chips and glaze losses.

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Wednesday, December 21st - Friday, December 30th, WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5. WE ARE CLOSED MONDAY, 12/26. We will offer in-house shipping to the Contiguous USA for select smaller items in this sale, please contact us prior to bidding for a quote as purchases are not contingent on shipping.
