Description
A group of 10 Chinese pith paper paintings, dating from the Qing dynasty. Each painting on the "pith" paper depicts a Chinese figure or figures in a pose holding and object, like a sword. Originally used to satisfy the increasing demand in the 19th century for small, inexpensive and easily transported souvenirs. Thus 10 small paintings fit into a small, thin box with clear top.

Condition: good condition overall ,paper is extremely delicate, brittle, and thin, some tears and breaks to the edges.
