probably late Qing dynasty, each in heavy dense black wood throughout, in faux bamboo with pierced splat centering carved bamboo panel, paneled caned seats, 41-1/4 x 27 x 22 in.

Note: With Huayi Furniture Co. Bill of Lading dated 1998, explain the wood as Zitan and over 240 years old
