Description
106 pieces of Sevres rose and parcel gilt porcelain tableware by Louis Aime Cesaire Mace (France, 19th century) featuring central gilt foliate or star forms, pink bands, and gilt honeycomb and rope decoration. Set includes 52 9 1/4" plates, 3 8 7/8" plates with central polychrome floral spay, 13 9" soup plates, 3 oval trays with scalloped rims, 12 teacups with 7 saucers, 6 demitasse cups with 4 saucers, and 6 compotes. Sevres Mace stamp to underside of 38 9 1/4" plates, 4 soup plates, oval trays, 3 compotes, teacups, demitasse cups, and all saucers. Nicolas Marbeuf retailer's stamp to undersides of 12 9 1/4" plates and the 8 7/8" plates. Other items unmarked. Items range in size from 2 1/4" H x 3 1/4" W x 2 1/2" D to 9 1/4" dia. France, second half of 19th century.

Condition
All pieces with minor scattered wear to enamel and gilt decoration. Two pieces with gilt colored surface residue, including one teacup and rim of one 9 1/4" plate. One 9 1/4" plate and one teacup with minor hairlines, largest measuring 1 3/4" L. Minute scattered chips, largest measuring 3/8" x 1/8".
