DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a signed first edition, later printing of Alice Walker's masterpiece The Color Purple, which won the Pultizer Prize for fiction in 1982. Walker was the first African American woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction.
Condition
The book is in near-fine condition with minor wear to the board edges, see photos. The spines and boards are tight and straight. No interior markings other than Walker's signature. There are no previous owner's bookplate or markings. The dust jacket is in very good condition with minor wear to the edges and toning to the spine, see photos. The books will be carefully packaged in a box and shipped via USPS Media Mail.
