Large Collection Vintage Woolworth's Store Address Stencils in Custom Wood Cases, c. 1940s–1950s. This incredible collection comprises stencils bearing the addresses of seemingly every US location of the "F.W. Woolworth Co," aka Woolworth's, from the period that could be called the golden age of the seminal "five-and-dime" store that would become the model for Walmart and today's retail behemoths. Coming from the shipping department of a regular, dedicated supplier—the stencils have clearly been well-used—this unique collection is a snapshot of the famous corporation at its peak, via the Mid-century, analog version of an Avery label merge, and a timeless artifact of American culture.
