Description
Set of three, attributed to John Henry Belter (American 1804-1863, Victorian era laminated rosewood parlor chairs in the Rococo Revival taste, circa 1860, comprising a single armchair and two side chairs, each having a carved floral and fruit crest, with upholstered back and seat, and rising on cabriole legs, apparently unmarked.
Approx. the armchair h. 42", w. 23.5", d. 19.5"; seat h. 16".

Condition
Armchair with repaired veneer below floral crest, one side chair with losses to floral crest, no apparent tears to upholstery, frames are structurally sound.
