Vintage Mother-of-pearl & Agate Bracelet, India, 8". This is a wide bracelet with a pin clasp at the back and a 1.25" green agate on top with a decorative bezel in brass. The same design is also on each side of the stone where the band goes around the wrist with inlaid white mother-of-eparl tiles set with brass dividers and a thin border done the same way on the sides of the tiles with a total width of appx. 1". The inside of the band is thin brass as well. This is a primitive and rustic design, yet very appeal. It has cultural and ethic look and feel and with the 8" measurement, will fit almost anyone's wrist. The inside measurement of the opening is appx. 2-7/8" from side-to-side and 2,25" front-to-back. It has the Made in Indian black and white label on the back of the setting of the stone. Age is estimated at 1960's-1970's and still being made today as souvenirs.
