A Mid century Italian Milano Piero Fornasetti print decorated porcelain plate. The plate is lithographically printed with variant schools of swimming fish, Passage of Fish, 1955. The plate is marked with a black artist stamp, a green stamp, Arzberg, the company mark and design number, on the backside. Provenance:Doyle New York, New York, NY, United States, June 08, 2022, 226. The auction paper labels on the backside. Piero Fornasetti, 1913 to 1988, was an Italian artist and designer. The work of Piero Fornasetti is a mixture of illusionism and architectural perspectives. His favorite themes are the sun, playing cards, fish, butterflies, books, architecture, and the face of a girl named Lina Cavalieri.
