Vintage Sterling Men's Blue Cat Eye Ring, Sz. 10, 1960's-1970's. The stone is appx. 11.5mm by 10mm oval. It sits centered on top of the ring with a stacked pointed leaf-like design down the shoulders on both sides. The ring is papx. 14.2mm down the finger and the band at top shoulders closest to the stone is appx. 12.5mm and tapers down to 4mm at the back of the finger. It is marked .925 and tested with weight of appx. 7.62 gr. It is not signed by the maker. It does have a scratch on the plain silver behind the leaf accents on one side. It is not cracked through but it does have a scratch. Natural Cat's Eye is Chrysoberyl. It exhibits a chatoyancy which is formed from fibrous inclusions or cavities within the stone. This chatoyancy allows the stone to resemble a cat's eye. The ring is in good condition and quite unique. It is a men's ring but can be for anyone - Unisex. (W111222.3X3 SS9021 J LD 12/10/22).
