George II mahogany tilt-top tripod tea table, ca. 1750, the clover-shaped dished tilt top with molded edge on tilting mechanism above an acanthus and guilloche carved turned standard support on three c-scroll carved legs terminating in rocaille-carved feet on leather casters. 30" H x 30.5" W x 30.25" D Note: The offered table is related to designs for "claw tables" Ince & Mayhew, The Universal System of Household Furniture, 1762, pl.
