French Provincial Louis XV Style Carved Oak Commode, 19th c., the rounded stepped edge serpentine top over three drawers, flanked by rounded edge pilasters, on scrolled cabriole legs joined by a carved arched skirt, H.- 36 3/4 in., W.- 42 3/4 in., D.- 19 1/4 in.

Rear proper left leg appears to have been glued back on. There are minor dings and surface scratches throughout. At the proper right side of the top, there is a large water stain that wore away the varnish and could easily be refinished. The wear is consistent with the items age and normal use.
