mid-19th century, the ogee-molded giltwood surround lined with beading, with a top crest decorated with pierced scrollwork and trailing morning glories, and a lower crest decorated with rocaille work flanked by scrollwork and trailing flowers and leaves.

Condition
**In very good restored condition. Very minor losses to the branches at the right shoulder. Scattered shrinkage to the gesso from age. The finish has been professionally touched up. Has a very pleasing overall patina.
