Very rare German passport issued in 1940 to a German Jew called Bernhard Israel Goldschmidt, who lived in Hannover. This passport is interesting not only for having the red ink stamped "J" to identify him as a Jew within the III Reich or the imposed name of Israel as second name, but also because it has plenty of visas and entries and amongst them some very rare from the Japanese puppet state of Manchukuo in China. It also has some ink stamps of the consulate of Manchukuo in Hamburg. Also visas of travels to the United States. It had limited international recognition.
