Large-scale Chinoiserie breakfront china cabinet with pagoda-form crown, finished in burgundy lacquer with gilt trim, hand-painted scenes and carved abalone applique figures. Features an illuminated top with beveled glass doors, mirrored back and glass-inset shelves. Cabinet disassembles into three segments (crown, display cabinet and base) for transport; base cabinet is fully finished on top and can be used without top. C. 1960's-1970's. Dimensions: H 82" x W 60" x D 18" Condition: Showing very light surface wear consistent with age; a few nicks and scratches to lacquer, a couple small cracks and rubs to applique; some light soiling to drawer interiors.
