Description
Originally listed at $1,000...
Ancient Greece, Geometric Period, ca. 7th century BCE. A hefty bracelet, cast from bronze and of wearable form, with offset terminals that nearly touch. The ovoid accessory features a tall midrib as well as dramatically flared ends, with intricate linear and concentric circle motifs engraved along the lower areas of each end. Smooth layers of green and turquoise-hued patina have developed over the centuries and imbue the bracelet with a presentation evocative of the Classical world.
