Attributed Francesco Spanghero (Italian, 1892-1945). Marble statue of a winged goddess, likely Nike, the goddess of victory. Signed along the base.
Provenance: From the Estate of Horst Rechelbacher, Osceola, Wisconsin.

Heavily restored. There are areas that have been reattached along the tips of the wings, the corners of the base, and the figure’s right breast; the figure’s right hand also shows significant restoration.
