The fully assembled model ship replete with painted sheet metal sails set in a diorama depicting the sea beneath and sky behind, all behind gilt-framed glass
20.5" H x 32.25" W x 9" D

Condition

Overall fair to good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. The case is missing the top piece of the gilt molding framing the glass. There are several pieces of the ship model that have detached from the overall structure and fallen down inside of the case. Additionally, there is grime and insect carcasses inside of the diorama. Lastly, varnish applied to the painted sky backdrop has yellowed in certain areas.
