This is the Dalzell Hatfield 1946 Limited, Signed Edition of Russell Cowles, with text by Donald Bear. This is copy #704, signed by Cowles on the limitation page.
The dust jacket is separated along the front edge of the spine. There is a small stain to the bottom of the front, and occasional shallow edge wear, but no deep tears and no notable color fade. The flaps, with the price not clipped, are in good condition.
The cover has a light stain along its top edge, and a split along the front edge of the spine. The spine is not detached. Both front and back covers are securely connected.
The inside is in very good condition, with no stamps or other attachments, no writing, other than the artist's signature and the copy number, no tears or creases. The is slight tanning to a small number of page borders, but not to most, and no stains of note to any pages. The 48 art reproductions are clean and unfaded. The binding is tight, throughout, with no loose or missing pages. The accompanying photos are of this copy.
