An English Late Georgian library chair, the leather covered seat and back with brass nail head trim, the sides with forged metal adjusting mechanism, and rising on turned legs, overall 47"h x 29"w x 26"d. Provenance: Estate of Joanna Barnes and Jack Warner (Santa Barbara, California). Ms. Barnes was a Hollywood film actress featured in movies such as "Auntie Mame (1958)" and "The Parent Trap (1961)". Mr. Warner was a prominent architect.
