The portly pooch bears burnished surfaces and is decorated with linear and zigzagging motifs in hues of red, white, and brown. A mouthpiece atop the canine's head enables sound to emanate from a tone hole in front of its chest, and a pair of finger holes beneath the body allow the instrument to change its pitch.
