È il primo testo legislativo sul sistema educativo ufficialmente adottato durante la Rivoluzione Francese. Il decreto del 29 Frimaire è conosciuto come “Décret Bouquier”. Gilbert Bouquier aveva presentato un Rapporto e un progetto di decreto alla Convenzione il 18 Frimaire An II (8 dicembre 1793). Le sezioni I - III di questo progetto sono state adottate con qualche modifica nel Decreto del 29 Frimaire An II (19 Dicembre 1793). L’Articolo I recita: “L’enseignement est libre” Cfr. Very important document about public education. It is the first law text about education system officially adopted during the French Revolution. The decree of 28th Frimaire is known as “Décret Bouquier”. Gilbert Bouquier presented a rapport and a decree project on the Convention of the 18th Frimaire An II (8th December 1793). The sections I – III of this project have been adopted with some modifications in the Decree of 29th Frimaire An II (19th December 1793).
