Description
This is a wonderful set of sterling flatware from Gorham. Most have the anchor, lion mark. This pattern was introduced in 1899 and ran until 1950. In 1950, manufacturing resumed with the Gorham Sterling mark. Service includes:
8 Dinner forks
8 Salad forks
8 Teaspoons
8 Knives
3 Tablespoons
1 Butter spreader
1 Flat handle master butter
1 Tomato server
1 Asparagus tongs
1 Pie server
1 Solid gravy ladle
1 Baked potato fork
Tossed in is a single sterling teaspoon from Alvin in the Chateau Rose pattern from 1940. While it doesn't match, it does have similar characteristics of the Gorham pattern and blends .
