Jens Peter Larsen Dorenfeldt of Trondhjems, circa 1765
Oval, embossed and chased with rococo ornament on partly matted grounds, the rim with shellwork and stemmed flowers, on four leaf-chased scroll feet, matching handles cast with flowers and leaves, marked on base IPD above 1762 in shaped shield, and lightly scratched No 1 21, length over handles 23.8 cm, together with a Danish silver plate, by Mitchelson of Copenhagen, 1935, with moulded and reeded shaped edge, two embossed dishes and a bowl, weight 33oz.
