Description
Pair of Meissen Germany porcelain leaf form serving dishes with hand painted ornithological decoration, Marcolini Period, circa 1800. Leaf-form plates with raised leaf veins, hand painted images to the center of birds on a branch, insects and floral garlands with ribbons to the edge. Reticulated areas to the edge, gilt to the pointed edges. Meissen Marcolini crossed swords mark to the underside.
