Southeast Asia, Thailand, Sawankhalok (Sawankalok), ca. 14th to 15th century CE. A group of 3 hand-built pottery jars that are covered in dark brown glaze that once perhaps showed green or yellow hues. Each vessel features a bulbous body atop a planar base, a rounded shoulder, and a petite rim, 1 of which has a pair of petite strap loops flanking the rim. Size: 5.9" W x 5.125" H (15 cm x 13 cm)
Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010

Condition
Each piece has minor nicks and abrasions, with light encrustations, and darkening to remaining glaze pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Nice earthen deposits.
