Antique Decanter Box with Bramah London Lock and Original Key, Baccarat Crystal Decanters

Item Details

Description

This stunning antique is a wonderful set to add to any barware collection! The wood box has brass accents and the interior is lined with blue velvet. The box has its original Bramah London Patent lock, and its original key. An interior plaque indicates that the original retailer of the box was "Wedgwood & Son 9 Cornhill." The two original decanters are attributed to baccarat, and are in good condition. Some very slight chipping due to the age, but no cracks or large noticeable chips. One decanter is numbered "12" on the inside of the neck of the bottle, and on the bottom of the stopper. The other decanter is numbered "13" on the inside of the neck of the bottle, and on the bottom of the stopper. Each decanter is 2 7/8 inches wide, 2 7/8 inches deep, and 8 inches tall. Condition

Good antique condition, some cracking in the wood along top edge. The top of the box has become dry with age, and some of the finish is worn down. One chip along bottom edge of veneer on the side of the box. Very slight chipping on the decanters, but no cracks or large chips.
