These three large Canton shawls are a wearable work of art and are lovely heavy silk shawl with tight hand embroidery white silk floss on a cream white silk ground with hand knotted macrame fringe on four sides. Skillfully done embroidery consists of flowers and meandering vines.

CONDITION
In good condition with few pin holes, small water stains and no repairs. However there are few small scattered brown storage spots. Embroidery is tight and intact through out. Messy fringes, not tangled, needs a combing. There is no apparent damage to the embroidery or the body of the shawl aside from very slight anomalies, very few and very minor "loosening" consistent with age and rare use and decades of storage. With a careful soaking these spots will disappear.

65" x 60" (body of shawl) not including its 14" fringe with knotted macrame measure 2-1/2" and fringe measures 11" on all four sides.

HANGING MIDDLE SHAWL
CONDITION
In good condition with no holes in body, small seam separation in corner, small brown storage spots or repairs. No embroidery in center, a plain shawl. Macrame fringe in very good condition. With a careful soaking these storage oxidation spots stains will disappear.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
64" x 63" (body of shawl) not including its 12" fringe with knotted macrame measure 2-1/2" and fringe measures 10" on all four sides.

In good condition with no holes, or repairs. However there are few water stains, organic stains and small storage spots stains. Embroidery is tight and intact through out. Fringe in very good condition, not tangled. There is no apparent damage to the embroidery or the body of the shawl aside from very slight anomalies, very few and very minor "loosening" consistent with age and rare use and decades of storage. With a careful soaking these stains will disappear.

42" x 41" (body of shawl) not including its 5" fringe with knotted macrame measure 2" and fringe measures 3" on all four sides.

Our antique textiles are collectible and are not new and not reproductions, and have lived a long and eventful life and sometimes developing flaws. We do not launder or dry clean unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many decades picking up old age storage oxidation spots.
