An early 19th century natural material pocket thermometer / compass, of circular form with engraved dial including temperature descriptors such a "SUMr HEAT", "BLOOD HEAT" and "FEVER HEAT" signed by "ENGLISH & SON BRIGHTON", working with internal cracks and compass crystal broken, in leather fitted case (possibly not original). Diameter, 2.75". This item has to be picked up by the buyer.
