The canvas has been cut and glue lined. There is craquelure evident throughout the composition. There are minor abrasions to the surface. Under UV, the signature fluoresces and was added. There are a few minor areas of restoration in the background and a larger area of on the woman's breast approximately 1 x 1/2in.

The painting is unframed.
