English 19th c. Patented Telescopic Table, with rosewood veneered and inlaid surface, molded edge double-hinged top opens to reveal a serving tray with side handles and glass base, with brass plaque engraved "The Eclipse, Patent No. 16398" inset at outer edge, inlaid apron with pull-out shelf below, set on turned legs with curved stretchers supporting a small lower shelf, set on casters, 31 1/4" high, 22 1/4" x 33". Surface scratches, veneer lifts and losses, shrinkage crack to interior below tray.
