An illustration depicting an escaping sailor in tattered clothing, for "Pitcairn's Island", by James Norman Hall & Charles Nordhoff. Appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post", October 20, 1934. Caption: "Peering down through a tangle of Pandanus, Minarel gave a sudden exclamation." Housed in a replica gold cove frame with dusty pink velvet liner, OS: 45 1/2" x 41", SS: 35 3/4" x 31 3/4". fine condition.
