Item Details

Description

Vintage set of 4 antique cast iron furniture legs with glass ball and claw feet. A cut above other sets—this set has the “Captain Nemo” looking design with see-through area revealing the glass ball. These are the type of feet found on Victorian lamp tables and piano or organ stools. They measure 3-3/4" length x 1-1/2" width, with a 1" top outside diameter and a 3/4" inside diameter. The attachment hole has a 1/4" diameter and each foot weighs about 5 ounces. No discernible marks to determine maker or origin. One glass ball with two small chips; the others are all in excellent shape. All four of the balls have a flat surface where they were placed on the floor. Three of the feet are clean with very little to no corrosion. One foot does have some rust.
