Pair of Chinese Blue and White Double Gourd Vases with Covers. Each with a larger compressed globular lower bulb, surmounted by a pear-shaped upper bulb rising to the narrow mouth and dome cover with foo dog knot, decorated with stylized lotus and leaves pattern above the lappet on the bottom, the recessed base inscribed a four-character 'Xuande' reign mark. {Height approximately 9 1/8 inches (23.1 cm)}.
