Description

O. L. Bachelder~ North Carolina Pottery. Antique American pottery, circa teens to early 1930s. Handmade in North Carolina, pot with 2 applied ring handles. Has glossy interior with a rich brown textured salt glaze exterior. Oscar Louis Bachelder (1852- 1935) used the name of Omar Khayyam Pottery for his artware with this piece marked with his OLB monogram. This choice example is in very good condition with some natural glaze imperfections done in the making. Vase measures approx. 3 3/4” wide by 2 1/4” tall.
