Notes: Stack's, The Capital City Sale lot 1101; October 11th, 2007.
Notes from the Stack's Auction: "North Carolina Currency. August 8, 1778. Four Dollars, "A Lesson to Arbitrary Kings, and wicked Ministers" Motto. PMG graded Extremely Fine-40. This scarce Four Dollars denomination note has four full obverse margins and shows only some light even circulation. A vertical center fold is mistaken by PMG as a split repair.
