Description
A set of two brass instruments with signs of age and use. The Kangling, from Tibet, with a cup mouthpiece and a bell in the shape of a stylised dragon is reminiscent of a “Hifthorn”.
Dimensions: Length: 40cm.
The signal trumpet with a cup-shaped mouthpiece is wrapped in a leather band with small shells tied to the ends. The decorative instrument is reminiscent of the “NafÄ«r”, which is used as a military signaling instrument and as an instrument for ceremonies in regions such as North Africa, Middle East and South Asia.
