The present lot is a reduction of the famous full size standing figure of Paris, now in the Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg. The standing figure is an impressive two meters high and depicts Paris with his left arm leaning on a tree stump, his hand resting on his cap. He has discarded his cloak on to the tree stump and looks to the other direction, his gaze a reminder of the famous mythological subject of 'the Judgement of Paris'.
