Description
After Mort Kunster (American b. 1931), "Jackson Enters Winchester", oil on canvas, American Civil War Confederate scene depicting General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson parading through Winchester, VA, May 25, 1862, surrounded by multiple figures, apparently unsigned with stenciled canvas maker's marks en verso "J.H. Barrett/Artist Colorman/6. Worship Street/Shoreditch/London", framed. Note: James Barrett is listed as living at 6 Worship St. from 1848 until 1864 then at 87 Blackfriars Rd in 1852. He may be also identified with Henry James Barrett born August 11, 1819. The original lithograph from which this composition is taken was printed in 1992.

Condition
Current canvas appears to be laid over the older foundation as there are gaps between the two, patch and staining to the back of the older canvas, no apparent overpainting, paint surface is stable.
