Description
From Colonial times until the mid-1900’s American potters produced these utilitarian crocks. Crocks were made by Red Wing Pottery, Robinson Ransbottom Blue Crown, Western Stoneware and others. They were used to store butter, pickles & even moonshine! The markings identify the pottery company and the number denotes the capacity it can hold. PLEASE BE AWARE that bidding on large or heavy pieces means that you must pick it up at our location in Alpena, Michigan, have it delivered by us for a fee, or agree to pay the lowest freight quote we can find to your location.
