DESCRIPTION: Antique French Louis XV style commode featuring ornate dore mounted foliate scroll designs at the feet, face, and shoulders with an aleppo marble top presenting variegated tan, ochre and rouge tones throughout, completed by fine marquetry depictions of flowers at the face over a parquetry designed veneer. The commode comprises of a bowed form with two drawers, and a serpentine edge around the top.

CONDITION: Very mild wear off of the gilding. Gilt bronze hardware at the back right leg requires remounting. Some scratching to the marble top along with mild chipping at the edges.
