DESCRIPTION: Antique 875 silver priests or bishops pectoral cross depicting Christ crucified and surrounded by various phrases/words in Cyrillic script. Verso bears an inscription paraphrasing 1 Timothy 4:12, a customary feature of this Orthodox vestment. Marked near bottom of pendant with Russian hallmarks including kokoshnik mark and maker's mark. Total weight: 79.97 g.
