This lot consists of a hand-painted very 19th C oil on canvas done by the NY master artist Harry J. Kellogg (1839 - 1895) was active/lived in Ohio, New York. Harry Kellogg is known for Landscape, genre and still life painting, fresco murals, panoramas, teaching.

Professor Harry J. Kellogg, artist, was born in Canandaigua, New York, June 4,1839. His father, Daniel J. Kellogg, was native of that State, and of Scotch ancestry. He was an artist, and a member of the Royal Art Union of New York City, also a celebrated historical and portrait painter. He died at South Bend, Indiana, May 24, 1895, while on a visit to that place, at the age of sixty-six years. He had been a member of the Presbyterian church for many years. .
