Description
An early small bronze pancake push-key lock made by K. Miller Lock Co., Philadelphia, PA, with 1870 and 1873 patent dates incised on shackle, with "D. & R. G. RWY. CO. CAR LOCK" embossed on pebbled background. "A 120" is lightly stamped on the edge of the border at the 8 o' clock position. There is no key included with this lot. The body of the lock has normal railroad wear, with no distracting damage and in a nice patina. There is some adhesive residue on the back side that can be easily removed. A rare lock in very good condition. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: 2 - 1/2" Dia.
