A lighted sign box with provisions for hanging on the back of a passenger train. The chassis is a fabricated unit containing electrical components and a reverse painted sign "Kansas City Southern Bell." The reverse painting shows some splotched discoloration in the light green field, but is generally in good condition otherwise. The chasis is painted brown on the back and edges and the border surrounding the glass insert is gold. There are some scratches in the paint. There is an old power cord at the bottom, but this unit has not been tested and is being sold as-is.
