March 26, 1900-Dated, Spanish-American War Era Military Discharge Certificate, State of New York National Guard, Framed, Fine.
This original Military Discharge Certificate measures about 14" x 11" (by sight), framed to 17.5" x 14.5". Issued to; "William J. Markey / Private of Company F / 23d Regiment / enlisted on the eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five to serve five years, having complied with the Military Code... Honorably Discharged...". Some soiling anddamp stains along edges and toned overall, matted in a simple wooden frame with some edge wear. Signed at bottom by the Company Commander and Regimental Commander.
