Mottahedeh Porcelain Service for 14, in K'ang Hsi Pattern from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, comprising 14 dinner plates (one with chip and associated hairline crack), 13 8 5/8 in. salad plates (4 with chips to rims, one with chip and hairline crack) 15 3/8 in. rectangular serving platter, two 8 5/8 in. serving bowls, a 7 1/8 in. pitcher, small cream pitcher, and waste bowl, a 5 3/8 in. lidded sugar bowl with berry finial, 16 teacups, all marked with Metropolitan Museum of Art, Mottahedeh, VA 1824 Portugal, the plates marked 'Decoration adapted from a Chinese Bowl, K'ang His period (1662-1722)'.
