Vintage MoToR’s AUTO REPAIR MANUAL Copyright 1950 is a FirstEdition, Thirteenth Printing by Hearst Magazines, Inc. The first page states, “This book gives specific instructions on the removal, replacement, fitting and adjustment of all mechanical parts on all cars
built from 1935 to date.” It has definitely been in the hands of a few mechanics as shown by fingerprints and dirty spots in various places. Even so, all the printing is readable. It was obviously an important, well-used manual in its day. The book is sound, tight binding, no missing or torn pages. Very few of these books for sale on the internet. Has many great pictures and charts. Someone who restores older cars will appreciate owning this manual.
FYI- Could not find any info on T.B. Tackett. He most assuredly was the book's owner and wanted everyone to know it.
